These wheels would be great for either downhill or freeriding. they are a little wider than other wheels ive have like deemax and some dt swiss, and they are very durable. These are near mint condition, about 30 miles on them. I have three wheelsets so this was always a spare. Ill post a picture of the width of the rims when i get home tonight. Thanks 
Yes it is, I should have mentioned that! I have an axle that comes with it.
